I’ve visited taste of India many times over the years and always have great experiences here. The food is brilliant and made to your taste. The staff are always polite and friendly and even remembers our order even though we haven’t been for a while! Can’t recommend them enough.

Had an amazing meal here with my family last night. The food was gorgeous and the prices were extremely reasonable! Bring your own alcohol too with no corkage fee which was great - we took wine and beer and for all 4 of us inc starters and poppadoms, main meals, rice and naan between us it was less than 70! Little gem of a place in Penistone x

Excellent food! The best nan bread I've ever had, and the mint sauce is to die for! Service was excellent!! Staff was so friendly and a lovely clean environment. Will definitely be only coming here in the future now. Thank you so much taste of Indian you was excellent .

Got a takeaway from here for the first time and it was amazing, we have struggles to find decent food since moving but this place was beaut, will deffo be a regular for us now

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and have never had a bad meal—the flavors are always rich, and the quality is consistently excellent. They’re also incredibly accommodating, happily adjusting dishes for vegetarians without compromising on taste.

Over it's near 40 years in Penistone, there is no doubt that "The Taste of India" is a stalwart of the Community. The welcome is always friendly, the quality of the food guaranteed and the staff consistently lovely and very accommodating. 5 stars all the way!

Lovely midweek treat here. The dishes were all fresh and very flavourful. The nan bread was beautiful. We were very surprised that a full meal for 2 with starters and 2 drinks was only 43! We will definitely be going back. The only slight negatives is that is was a little cold (but it was -1 outside and we were sat next to the window) and they aren't serving alcohol so you need to take your own.
